Position Overview: The successful candidate will contribute to the design and testing of advanced optical systems, conducting hands-on experiments in our laboratory to develop and optimize optical components. This role will involve collaboration with a dynamic team to address complex challenges and improve our product offerings.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (physics, optical engineering, photonics, etc).
Proficiency in optics simulation software; experience with Zemax is preferred.
Practical experience in building and testing optical experiments.
Familiarity with low noise experimental techniques.
Mechanical design experience.
Strong independent problem-solving abilities.
Programming experience, particularly in Matlab or Python.
Prior industrial experience is advantageous.
Tasks:
You will be expected to contribute to building and testing optical setups supporting our publicly funded projects, Hyperimage, Omicsens and Exquisite.
